It is officially 2018 and I know tons of people have been making New Year's resolutions left and right! Like most people, in the past I have struggled with naming a list of resolutions, but not completely following through on them. Last year, I decided to try something new. At the beginning of the year, I wrote down a list of my goals (resolutions) for the year along with a specific date to complete those goals. I placed those goals in my bullet journal, an object that I read every day. I can proudly say that I completed EVERY SINGLE goal. Beyond doing the actual work, I recognized that LISTING the goals with a DATE OF COMPLETION allowed me to regularly keep track of the things I wanted to accomplish. Keeping them in my bullet journal allowed me to view them consistently to remind myself of my deadlines. I have created a SMART Goal setting template to help you determine what your goals are for 2018 and to help you list them out along with a date of completion. Download it! Print it out! List your goals with dates and post it somewhere that you will see it regularly!
